Great to see parades starting again in Barnstaple!

The First Battalion Rifles Regiment will march through the town at 11.30am to exercise its Freedom of the Town.

Starting at the Civic Centre the parade will progress down the Strand to the High Street ending at the Pannier Market.

The troops will then be inspected by the Mayor of Barnstaple, Councillor Ian Roome, and the Senior Officer, Rifles Regiment, at 12 noon.

The parade will include Old Comrades and Army Cadet Corps, with the Band of the Territorial Army leading the March and performing in the Pannier Market.
